About
PERSON:
AJ Rinaldi is a husband, father, teacher, student, writer, and musician. He has been the Director of Parachurch and Academic Ministries at EvanTell for almost two years. Prior to that, AJ spent fifteen years in the healthcare field in a variety of roles, including service as a medic with the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.
AJ has been involved in ministry with youth, children, worship, and as a leader for college and singles groups. His wife, with whom he has written, recorded and performed music, is currently the Worship Director at the church they attend.
Through the many diverse paths of his life and with a taste for change, AJ has developed experience in how to effectively respond to the shifting sands of culture. By virtue of necessity, he has cultivated an ability to understand and interact with a variety of people. Throughout those experiences, teaching and training has been a constant passion. Whether it involves infantrymen in combat life-saving techniques, healthcare auditors in public relations, or sixth-graders in children’s church; AJ has found himself in the role of teacher, mentor and instructor in most phases of his professional and personal life.
AJ was born in Staten Island, NY and since then has lived in too many places to mention. He graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and is currently working toward a Master in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary. AJ has a passion to develop curriculum that is engaging, challenging and thought-provoking as well as teaching in the same manner.
PURPOSE:
Redeeming the Culture is not about affecting change through social programs, governance or radical activity. Rather, it is a desire to see individuals exercise leadership within their own sphere of influence to change hearts and minds one at a time…
PREVIEW:
In Redeeming the Culture, we will survey any issue from the controversial to the mundane and discuss how Christians can be relevant participants by not only interpreting our culture through a Biblical Worldview, but putting into practical application that which we believe can affect positive change within our society.
